- Trade Directly on your Forex Charts
With VT Trader™, you can open/close positions with a click of your mouse or drag and drop to place stops and limits directly on your Forex charts. VT Trader offers an extensive lineup of drawing tools and preprogrammed indicators to aid your technical analysis, ranging from Bollinger Bands to Fibonacci fans. Because most technicians use several indicators simultaneously, we’ve made it easy to add and subtract them from the chart.
- Customizable Indicators

VT Trader™ offers the easy-to-use VT Autopilot indicator builder, which gives you total control over your technical toolkit. Create custom technical indicators using your own formula.
- Manage your Risk
Enjoy an array of risk management tools to help you reduce your risk in trading currencies. You have the option of placing limit and stop orders and hedging your trades to protect your positions. Use our Trader’s Range tool to specify the maximum number of pip deviation from the current price (in either direction) that you will accept, thereby reducing the risk of getting requoted in a fast moving market. VT Trader™ 2.0 also features Trader’s Guardian, a suite of risk managing tools that help you analyze your risk exposure in the market.
- Price Alerts
Set up a Price Alert to notify you in graphic and/or sound form at a specified Bid/Ask price. This way you can stay on top of your trades even if you have your trading platform minimized or are away from your computer. As with most of VT Trader™’s features, alerts can be customized; you can personalize the sound file of your alert and also the conditions under which you will be alerted.

CMS International clients will have access to actionable Dow Jones newswires and market commentary through MarketTalk™. Dow Jones Newswires, is an award-winning news provider and streams breaking news on events that affect the Forex markets. Since streaming Dow Jones news is only accessible to live account holders, demo account users will only receive archived news.
